The French summer programs combine learning, fun, and culture.
Make international friends and discover the French way of life while
staying with a French host family. Students have a choice of two
beautiful locations: Paris-Bretigny, which is located southwest
of Paris, or Biarritz, a resort on the Atlantic coast referred to
as the French Riviera of the Southwest.
No visa is required for this program.
Who can apply?
Students 15-18 years old. One year of French instruction is preferred,

Locations
Paris-Bretigny is the perfect location for students
who wish to live and study in a residential and safe suburb of Paris
while discovering the charms of the city. Highlights include visits
to the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, the Louvre and the Loire Valley;
a ride on the bateaux mouches; sports such as tennis, swimming,
soccer or basketball with French students; and a diverse international
student body.
Biarritz is the ideal location for sun and sea
lovers. This famous international surfing spot nestled in the foot
of the Pyrenées offers everything: breath-taking scenery, mountains
and the sea, the bustling life of a renowned resort and the friendliness
of the Basque people.
Highlights include excursions to Bayonne, the Basque country, San
Sebastian via the French and Spanish coasts and Saint Jean de Luz.
Evening activities include beach parties and bowling, plus sports
(volleyball, soccer, surfing, rafting and more).
Biarritz language and surfing program is a special program for surf lovers that includes 15 hours of French lessons per week,
one full-day excursion per week, three afternoons of surfing per
week with qualified instructors (equipment provided) and a Diploma
of the Fédération Française de Surf. Beginners are accepted.

Accommodations
Live with a carefully selected French host family. With the exception
of weekday lunches, students eat meals with their host family.

Fee includes:
- $500 application fee
- Round trip airfare from New York, NY, to Paris, France
- Medical insurance
- 24-hour supervision/local representative assistance
- Homestay accommodations and all meals except weekday lunches
- Enrollment in summer school courses

- Transfer from nearest airport or railway station to the host
community
- Pre-departure orientation in the U.S.
