Academic year, fall or spring semester Dutch language
program
 |
Amsterdam |
The Netherlands offers students a variety of cultural, educational
and recreational options. The unique geography has shaped the country’s
history and the character of the people. Amsterdam, the capital,
is as popular as ever with its canals, cafés and friendly atmosphere.
The Netherlands is one of the most densely populated countries in
the world, and its inhabitants have mastered the art of using space
wisely—everyone rides a bicycle, from children to grandparents.
A visa is not required for this program; however, students must
apply for a resident permit after arrival.
Who can apply?
Students 15-18 years old. Students cannot be older than 18 1/2
at start of program. A minimum overall “C” GPA is required for
all programs. Students will take three to four hours of Dutch
language per week (this will vary from school to school). Graduating
seniors may be eligible.
