Explore the fascinating culture of Argentina, a mixture of the
Latin American lifestyle with a strong European influence. Argentina
is a country rich in tradition; its tango, gaucho costumes, and
asados (barbeques) are typical representations of the nation’s culture.
The landscape offers some unique regions from the northern subtropical
terrain to the southern glacial zones, with grasslands and mountainous
regions in between. Participants of this program will be able to
experience much of Argentina’s cultural and geographical diversity
while living with a host family for a semester or academic year.
Their knowledge of the Spanish language is sure to improve as they
live the life of a local teenager. A student visa is required for
this program. The necessary paperwork will be sent to you after
host family placement.
Who can apply?
Students 14-18 years old. A minimum of two years of Spanish instruction
