2009 AYA National Meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina for Local Coordinators

AYA is excited to have the Golden Tulip Savoy Hotel host our annual conference from November 5 – 9, 2009! This traditional 4-star hotel is strategically located in the historic center of Buenos Aires and has the typical architectural style of European neo-baroque from the early 20th century. The hotel is in downtown Buenos Aires, just a few steps to Corrientes Ave., where there are great restaurants, shopping, museums, theatres and many sights to visit. There are also plenty of plazas and cafes to just sit and watch the local Portenos, the lively and vibrant people of Buenos Aires.

During the first day of the conference, Local Coordinators will attend informative training workshops to enhance their skills. After the day of meetings, several half and full day optional tours will be offered for those who wish to explore outside Buenos Aires and see the culture and history that Argentina has to offer.

There will be an exciting and adventurous 4-day extension trip after Buenos Aires. Stay tuned for the announcement of the extension trip location. It is sure to be exciting!

To qualify for this amazing trip to Argentina, current Local Coordinators must place a number of students by specified dates.
