Academic Year in America (AYA) is a leader in cultural and educational exchange and recipient of numerous U.S. Department of State grants, including the FLEX Program (Future Leaders Exchange) and Partnership for Learning Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES).

AYA has linked high school students from around the world with volunteer host families since 1981. AYA offers families who have hosted a student travel benefits to visit their students and scholarships for study abroad.
