Important Forms for Host Families and Students
AYA’s primary concern is the safety and well being of our students. Should you or someone you know on our program need help, please contact our national office support hotline which is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week at 1-800-322-4678 or email us at aya.info@aifs.org. Additionally, effective August 1, 2009, the U.S. Department of State implemented a toll free number and email address that may be used by host families, exchange students and the public to report circumstances impacting the students’ health, safety and well being during their exchange visitor programs. Their number is 1-866-283-9090 and the email address is jvisas@state.gov.
My host family has beautiful minds and pretty smiles. One of the things that I've learned from my host family is smiling with my teeth. I hadn't smiled with my teeth since my childhood. They gave me that smile back. I loved being a part of their family and it's really sad to leave. I'm looking forward to inviting them to my fatherland having fun together again.
